About the Segal family:
Our dear late father, George Segal joined the family business, as the first member of the third generation of family members, in 1947 after serving at the end of WWII and restoration of Germany.
He started in the machine, spring and glass shop and he eventually became President and CEO in the mid nineteen eighties. He was active as Chairman of the Board until his passing in 2014.
Our father was a long time active member of industry peer groups and associations such as Distributor’s Institute, AWDA and serving as a leader in the different buying / marketing groups that our company had been involved with starting in the nineteen fifties with Associated Parts ending with Parts Plus. Most importantly, he was a strong proponent of encouraging individuals to pursue their potential not only with a strong work ethic , but also with a formal post-secondary education.
In honor of their late father, fourth generation stewards David and Bobby Segal, made the financial commitment to become a lifetime Trustees of the University of the Aftermarket, and to designate their financial gift to support the next generation of the automotive aftermarket.
The company has 48 store locations supplying auto parts, truck parts, paint, and collision repair items throughout New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and Massachusetts. They have been in business since 1920.
